Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5, 1956, at Woodland Hills California. Her father was a teacher and her mom was a domestic worker. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her elder brothers. At a young age, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and she would frequently perform puppet shows for the neighborhood children. In the year she turned six, McCormick was crowned her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her and asked whether the actress was looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. Her first major role came during 1964, where she was featured in a television commercial featuring Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. Later that year she did another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical Wind It up until It Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the role of the oldest daughter in the trio of towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show was a collaboration between Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. It lasted five years. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008, McCormick disclosed that during the 5th season of the show she almost lost the love of her life to her twin brother Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick disclosed in her book, Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia and Finding My True Voice that in season five of the show, she nearly lost her virginity to actor Barry Williams. She said that it would have been possible, but we didn't have the proper moment to make the decision.
