Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son one of Richard McCormick. Her father was a teacher and her mom was a domestic worker. There are three brothers older than her: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick was a gifted singer and performer from the age of 6. She show puppet shows for the neighbors. When McCormick was six years young, she took home her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called and asked her whether she would like to enter the show business. McCormick's first job as a professional was during 1964, when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. A year later she was a guest on the company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately cast in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected out of a crowd of over 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance for the role of the oldest of three towheaded daughters on the new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with an unintended family. The show lasted five years. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick was close to losing her virginity on the sets of the show in the fifth season when it was played by Barry Williams. In 2008, she revealed in her book Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, that during the fifth season of the show, she nearly lost her virginity to actor Barry Williams. This would have occurred as she describes. However, the timing for our relationship was not right.
