Anita Barone
Anita Barone, a stage actress with a wide range of talents, who's mostly connected to sitcoms in TV and got the most coveted chance to shine as Jeff Foxworthy's wife on ABC's "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired on the network for one season from 1995 to 1996. Barone's first stage appearance was when she was five in Detroit where her family had relocated to the city from St Louis. In her early twenties Barone was on stage in more than 50 plays that were mostly produced by universities as well as regional theatres. The stage roles she played included Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," Helen Keller in a production that was based on "Monday Following the Miracle" and the title performance of Agnes, the young tormented nun as in "Agnes of the Gods." Her debut on screen was in the minor part of "The Roseary Murders" with a cameo appearance in "Ricochet" as well as leading in the romantic indie comedy "Just Friends" that was released in the year 1996. Barone was the first to get a notable Hollywood job as a part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) - - the failed effort by Carol Burnett in trying to revive the comedy sketch series. Barone was also in the"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". The actress later came back to her regular sitcom show, in which she co-starred with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio".
